Da oggi è disponibile sul portale www.planetrock.rai.it lo speciale sul Rock Australiano da me curato per la trasmissione cult di Stereorai: Planet Rock. Quella fu la mia prima esperienza in assoluto dietro ad un microfono di una radio, che ha lasciato in me una profonda emozione che rivive ogni qualvolta ci ripenso. All’epoca, parliamo dei primi anni 90, ero un accanito ascoltatore di Stereorai e di programmi come Stereodrome e Planet Rock, che hanno svolto una parte importante nella mia formazione di appassionato di rock’n’roll. Due trasmissioni attraverso le quali un ragazzo di provincia come me, poteva conoscere ed ascoltare tutto quello che non aveva a portata di mano (dischi, concerti, artisti ecc). Il bello era che i conduttori di queste trasmissioni riuscivano a creare un clima di familiarità con gli ascoltatori, facendoli diventare protagonisti attraverso un messaggio in segreteria telefonica, una cartolina, un fax una lettera.
